Convention and Exhibition Centre

 

The Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre was officially opened in 1999,and is managed by Singex Venues Pte Ltd.

 

Covering over 123,000 sqm of indoor and outdoor space, comprising exhibition and conference halls, meeting rooms, mobile V-Rooms and The MAX Pavilion, EXPO annually welcomes over 6.5 million visitors and more than 700 events, ranging from exhibitions, corporate meetings, conventions, award ceremonies, gala banquets,to consumer shows.

 

Since its inception, expo has garnered numerous accolades amongst which was voted third "Best Convention andExhibition Facility in Asia" by CEI Asia readers in 2008, recognised as a Business Superbrand (Singapore) as well as being nominated as Exhibition News Awards "Best International Venue" finalist in 2010.

 

From intimate conferences and corporate meetings,to large-scale conventions, consumer exhibitions and international trade shows, Singapore Expo is the answer to creating that perfect business event.

Event Venue

1. By Car

 

Three major expressways link Singapore EXPO to the rest of Singapore. They are:

 

  • East Coast Parkway (ECP)

  • Pan Island Expressway (PIE)

  • Tampines Expressway (TPE)

 

There are 2,200 car park lots dedicated solely to visitors at the centre.

 

Driving directions from city:

Take the PIE (exit 4A)

Turn into Simei Avenue

Head into Upper Changi Road East

Turn into Expo Drive where car park lots are located

 

Or

 

Take the ECP (exit 2B)

Connect to Xilin Avenue

Connect to Upper Changi Road East or Changi South Avenue 1 or 3

Turn into Expo Drive where car park lots are located

 

Or

 

Take the TPE

Turn into Upper Changi Road East

Turn into Expo Drive where car park lots are located

 

 

2. Park & Ride

If you're planning to drive, check out these alternative parking spots to avoid the frustration of waiting for an available lot.

 

Changi Airport(Terminals 1 to 3), hop on the train to Expo MRT (just one stop away).

Near SIMEI MRT Station, then proceed to take a train to Expo MRT (just two stops away).

3. By Taxi

There are numerous taxis available in Singapore that offer reliable service. The taxi fare from the airport to Singapore EXPO is about $15 and to the city about $20, subject to surcharges.

 

To book a taxi, you may call any of the major taxi companies here in Singapore:

  • Comfort and City Cab – 6552 1111

  • SMRT Taxis – 6555 8888

 

There is an additional surcharge of $2 for all taxis departing from the Singapore EXPO.

 

 

4. By Train - Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line

Singapore EXPO is served by its own station, Expo MRT station. To get to Singapore EXPO from Changi Airport, take the east bound train. It is just one stop from Changi Airport MRT and the journey lasts only 4 minutes. Average frequency from Changi Airport station is 12 minutes.

 

If you are coming from other parts of Singapore, transfer trains at Tanah Merah station (on the East West line) where the train will take you to Expo MRT in 3 minutes.

5. By Bus

There are 3 bus stops from which you can alight to get to Singapore EXPO:

 

  • Beside Carpark G on Upper Changi Road East

      Bus route numbers 12, 24 and 38

 

  • Outside Hall 1 on Upper Changi Road East

      Bus route numbers 12, 24 and 38

 

  • Beside Carpark J on Xilin Avenue

      Bus number 35
